Small Inventories
November 9 - December 8, 2007
Opening reception: Friday, November 9th, 6-9pm

The Jack Hanley Gallery, San Francisco, is pleased to present the first U.S. solo show of the work of Irish artist Fergus Feehily titled Small Inventories. The exhibit will include new works which straddle the boundries between painting and drawing, the figurative and the non-representative, all through the use of quiet, minimal gestures.

Recent solo exhibitions of Fergus Feehily include those at Galerie Christian Lethert, Cologne and in Dublin at the Goethe Institut and Green on Red Gallery.  In 2008 he will show at the Neuer Aachener Kunstverein, Germany. His work has been exhibited in group exhibitions at the Irish Museum of Modern Art; Monya Rowe, New York; and Ormeau Baths Gallery, Belfast, amongst others.  Feehily received his MFA in painting from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2002.
