The Jack Hanley Gallery is pleased to announce a show of new work by artist Jack Pierson. Pierson, who lives in New York, has shown in the United States as well as Europe, and will be included in next year's Whitney Biennial. He will show drawings, photographs and word sculptures. The scant phrases of his drawings and word pieces capture glimpses of past love affairs and evoke a sense of loss and betrayal, while the photographs - overexposed and grainy - seem to be snapshots from a personal photo album or diary.
